In Pursuit With John Walsh is on the hunt, this week, for Jovanny Romo Arellanes, who the police accuse of killing his former girlfriend, Briseida Guillen, at her home in San Bernardino, California.
On October 9, 2021, in the early morning hours, the remains of 26-year-old Guillen were found at her home on N Sepulveda Avenue, where she had received two stab wounds to her upper body.
The cops had been called to a possible domestic abuse incident.
The detectives learned that Guillen had been having problems with her ex-boyfriend, Arellanes. The pair had previously dated for two years but split up about six months before her murder.
Guillen had a restraining order against Arellanes due to alleged instances of stalking and violence.
On the night she died, Guillen had texted friends to say Arellanes had turned up at her home. But sadly, neither her friends nor the cops were able to get to her in time.
