A Plan to Kill is investigating the brutal murders of husband and wife Bill and Nancy Mueller and Nancy’s daughter, Sarah Powell, who were all suffocated to death by Chevie Kehoe and Daniel Lewis Lee in Tilly, Pope County, Arkansas.
Chevie Kehoe and Lee were members of a white supremacist gang that also included Kehoe’s brother, Cheyne Kehoe, their father, Kirby, and another accomplice, Faron Lovelace.
These thugs made up the Aryan Peoples’ Republic, and they had a supposed goal of setting up a white-only autonomous republic in the Pacific Northwest.
The gang set about this goal by committing multiple murders, kidnappings, firearms violations, and robberies in at least five states between 1995 and 1997.
The Kehoe brothers and their gang gained national notoriety in February 1997 after they had a shootout with police officers in Wilmington, Ohio.
They were stopped in a routine traffic stop that turned into a gun battle with an Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper and a Clinton County sheriff’s deputy. The gunfight was captured by the officers’ dashcam and can be viewed below.
Daniel Lewis Lee and Chevie Kehoe tortured and killed Bill and Nancy Mueller and daughter, Sarah
However, it was the discovery that Chevie Kehoe and Lee had brutally murdered a family in Tilly, Arkansas, that many found most horrific. The pair used plastic bags to suffocate gun dealer Bill Mueller and his wife Nancy, along with her 8-year-old daughter, Sarah Powell.

It was Chevie and Cheyne Kehoe’s mother who broke the case by contacting ATF agents to testify against her two sons. At the time, she feared for her life.
Chevie Kehoe and Daniel Lee received stern sentences following Mueller murders
Chevie Kehoe and Daniel Lee were both convicted on three counts of murder and conspiracy to overthrow the state and create a white-only nation. Kehoe was given a life sentence, but Lee was sentenced to death.
Faron Lovelace was also convicted of murder and sentenced to death.
The patriarch of the family, Kirby Kehoe, who had introduced his sons to his racist ideology, pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of firearms and ammunition and was sentenced to 44 months. Cheyne Kehoe pleaded guilty to the same charge and was sentenced to 41 months.
In July 2020, Lee was executed by lethal injection at USP Terre Haute in Indiana. Chevie Kehoe is currently incarcerated at the same facility.
