The Harford County Sheriff’s Office has released an image of the man they suspect killed Rachel Morin in Bel Air, Maryland, last August.
The 37-year-old Rachel was killed on August 5 as she jogged along the popular Ma & Pa Trail.
The cops say the killer was hiding in a bend on the hiking trail before he grabbed Rachel and dragged her through the woods, dumping her body at a drainage culvert.
The Sheriff’s Office has marked six months since Rachel’s death by releasing sketches of the suspect and broadcasting a podcast about the murder.
Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler and Captain Andy Lane said the suspected killer was involved in a home invasion in Los Angeles, California, in March 2023. On that occasion, the individual sneaked into a home and assaulted multiple family members before he was pushed out of the house.
The suspect’s image was caught on a home security camera as he exited the house; unfortunately, the camera only snapped his back, which was oddly shirtless.
He left behind a red baseball cap and some DNA, which was later matched to DNA found on Rachel.
