Seduced to Slay is investigating the sickening crimes of Kosta Fotopoulos and his murderous mistress, Deidre Hunt, who were responsible for killing teenagers Kevin Ramsey and Bryan Chase in Daytona Beach, Florida.
The twisted couple also attempted to murder Fotopoulos’s wife, Lisa Fotopoulos, so that they could claim her life insurance policy, but their efforts failed.
In 1989, Fotopoulos grew fed up with his wife and began having an affair with 20-year-old Hunt, who was a waitress at his bar. He reportedly did not want to leave his wife because she had wealth.
Fotopoulos later became concerned that another employee, 19-year-old Ramsey, was about to expose his counterfeiting operations, so he decided to kill him. Fotopoulos and Hunt invited their victim to an isolated hunting range in the woods, supposedly to induct him into a club.
However, Fotopoulos allegedly forced Hunt to tie Ramsey to a tree and then ordered her to shoot him in the head. He videotaped Hunt committing the murder. He then switched off the camera and put a bullet in Ramsey’s head himself.
Fotopoulos had developed a taste for murder. He decided to kill his wife, Lisa, and claim her $700,000 life insurance policy, and he used the tape of Hunt killing Ramsey to blackmail her into helping him.

Hunt then hired 18-year-old Chase to do the killing. He was promised $5,000 of Lisa’s life insurance.
Watch the Latest on our YouTube ChannelOn November 4, 1989, Chase broke into the Fotopoulos home and shot Lisa in the head as she lay in bed.
Fotopoulos then sat up and shot Chase multiple times, killing him. The killer had planned to keep the $5,000 and tell the cops that he had shot the intruder who killed his wife.
Thankfully, Lisa survived the shooting, and she would go on to remarry.
In the meantime, Fotopoulos and Hunt were arrested.
Deidre Hunt and Kostas Fotopoulos convicted for killing Bryan Chase and Kevin Ramsey
Fotopoulos was convicted of multiple offenses, including two counts of first-degree murder, and was sentenced to death. He is currently housed on death row at the Union Correctional Institution in Raiford, FL.
Hunt was also convicted on two counts of first-degree murder along with attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and armed burglary. She managed to avoid the electric chair but will spend the rest of her life behind bars.
The trial against Hunt had primarily focused on how much she had been coerced into the killings by Fotopoulos or to what degree she had been a willing participant. The prosecution portrayed her as a greedy killer who plotted Lisa’s death.
The judge took into account her abusive childhood, young age, and the fact she had cooperated with the police after her arrest when deciding her sentence.
However, Circuit Judge Edwin P.B. Sanders was clear about the seriousness of the case when he told Hunt, “This is a sentence that requires you die in prison.”
