Snapped is investigating the murder of John Wilty, who was gunned down in the street near his home in Olive Branch, Mississippi. His own wife, Angela Wilty, organized the murder.
On March 23. 2018, the Olive Branch Police Department received a call at 5:30 a.m. that a man was lying on a drive in front of a house.
When the police arrived, they found John had been shot multiple times, twice in the chest and once in the head. The 50-year-old passed away at the scene.
The cops learned from witnesses that John had been leaving for work when an individual approached him. He ran past a couple of houses before he was shot down.
John’s body was surrounded by shell casings, and initial suspicions were directed toward a gangland hit of some kind. However, the killer was actually much closer to home.
The victim had six children from a previous marriage, and they suspected his current wife, Angela, probably had something to do with his murder.
