How (Not) to Get Rid of a Body on ID is investigating the murder of David Rossillo Jr by motorcycle gang member Michael DiMauro in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
In December 2017, DiMauro and 33-year-old Rossillo met at the Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Southwest Philadelphia. The pair gained access with the help of a cemetery board member, a co-conspirator of DiMauro.
The killer was a member of the Warlocks motorcycle gang, an organized criminal enterprise. The police believe that Rossillo was a potential new recruit to the gang.
However, for reasons that remain unclear, DiMauro shot dead Rossillo. The killer then tied a rope around his victim’s neck and dragged him toward a Civil War crypt within the historic cemetery. He pried open the crypt and flung Rossillo’s remains inside.
The whereabouts of Rossillo remained a mystery for three years until April 2020, when the authorities pried open the crypt and found his body. They also discovered the body of a second murder victim, who was later identified as 36-year-old Keith Palumbo, a musician from Delaware County, PA.
DiMauro was arrested for the murder in September 2020. At the same time, the cops also detained Michael DeLuca for the murder of Palumbo.
