The police in Flagstaff, Arizona, have arrested Daniel Paduchowski on suspected charges of aggravated assault as the search for his wife, Kelly Paduchowski, continues. She has been missing since Sunday.
On Sunday morning, June 30, 45-year-old Kelly supposedly went for a run and a swim at the Campbell Mesa Trailhead, a hiking trail northeast of Flagstaff.
However, at about 7:30 p.m. that evening, 58-year-old Daniel Paduchowski reported her missing, and there’s been no sign of her since.
The Flagstaff PD and Coconino County Sheriff’s Office have combined to launch a search and an investigation. The cops stated last night that they have not yet found Kelly, but they believe she is a victim of a homicide.
In the meantime, Daniel is in custody in Coconino County Jail, facing charges of aggravated assault.
The cops said they arrested Daniel following interviews with family members and witnesses. He’s being held on a $500,000 bond.

At 12:13 p.m., cellphone data placed Kelly’s phone back at the couple’s home in the Coconino Estates neighborhood.
At 1:30 p.m., Kelly’s car, a white Mazda CX-5, and Daniel were seen at the Campbell Mesa trailhead. At 7:39 p.m., Daniel telephoned the cops, telling them Kelly had disappeared in the area of Lake Mary, which is a 20-mile drive south of the Campbell Mesa Trail.
